This variety is often misattributed however it can be easily distinguished from the other anonyomus issues by the unbound hair and the particular nose style often called a "ski nose" or "ski jump nose", and the extended horse's tail on reverse.
Interestingly, while the corresponding Cr. 45/1 denarius is always found with "ROMA" incuse on a raised tablet, this quinarius never is, even on coins that seem to almost certainly be from the same engraver.
